(Hands-free, nervous system–led support for chronic or recurring pain)

A structured, evidence-informed online assessment and support approach for people living with chronic or recurring pain (pain lasting longer than 3 months, or that keeps returning).

This option is suitable when hands-on treatment is not required, not available, or when symptoms are best addressed through pattern assessment, nervous system support and mind–body strategies.

🔍 This online approach is especially suited for pain that:

⏳ Has lasted longer than expected

🔁 Keeps returning despite treatment

❓ Appeared “out of nowhere”, without a clear injury

📈 Fluctuates with stress, illness, overload or life events

🧠 Is strongly influenced by fear, anticipation or flare-up cycles

🧠 What we focus on online

Sessions are hands-free and centre on understanding and changing the drivers of persistent pain.

This may include:

🩺 Detailed symptom and pain pattern assessment

🔁 Identification of triggers, flare patterns and maintaining loops

🧠 Nervous system and stress-response education

🧩 Mind–body strategies informed by SIRPA principles

🌿 Trauma-informed support where appropriate and relevant

🧘 Practical regulation tools (breathing, grounding, attention and pacing strategies)

All work is adapted case-by-case.

📋 What happens in online sessions

🧭 Comprehensive history and symptom mapping

🧠 Pain, stress and nervous system pattern assessment

🔍 Trauma screening where appropriate (never assumed)

🛠️ Tailored mind–body and self-regulation strategies

📈 Ongoing review of responses and symptom changes

Sessions are collaborative, paced, and always led by safety and consent.

🎯 This online option may suit you if:

🔹 You have chronic pain or widespread symptoms

🔹 Your pain hasn’t responded to standard physical treatment alone

🔹 You want a hands-free approach

🔹 You are already under medical care and want additional support

🔹 You are working alongside physiotherapy, osteopathy, counselling or medical treatment

This work can be done:

✔️ As a stand-alone approach

✔️ Alongside medical treatment and/or counselling

🚦 Safety first — always

🛑 This approach does not replace medical assessment

🩺 You may be asked to seek GP, specialist or imaging input where appropriate

🔍 Red flags and safety checks are prioritised at all times

🤝 Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is encouraged

✅ Important to know

❌ You do not need to believe your pain is “psychological”

✔️ Pain is recognised as real, physical and lived, with nervous system processes often playing a role in persistence

I have been an osteopath since 2015 but my fascination with the way the body works goes back much further. I have been driven by my own struggle with keeping my body working well, having had various surgeries and complications. I discovered Tai Chi and Martial Arts and because I gained a thorough understanding of biomechanics I was inspired to train as an Osteopath.

Alongside Osteopathy I also qualified as a Martial Arts coach and Tui Na Massage Practitioner.

I have found these fit together brilliantly and they support my absolute belief that everyone can improve their posture and movement. My aim is for you to achieve more than just temporary relief; it is to help you find what causes and contributes to your problem and to find solutions, unique to you, that you can take away to continue to help yourself.

The way I see it, prevention is better than cure.

To support you in this process I have recorded and developed a programme of exercises that are both gentle yet powerfully effective.
