Osteopathy is hands-on and exercise therapy that addresses most pain or movement issues in the body. Great examples are any kind of spinal pain, sciatica, hip, knee & other joint pains. Osteopathy addresses the body as a whole while focussing on the painful area, but always aims to restore as much movement and comfort throughout the entire body. Either through movement, massage, stretching techniques (and many more) or exercises addressing strength & often general advice on how to reduce stresses affecting recovery and comfort.

Osteopathy excels at helping with both new pain presentations, chronic pain but also in maintaining a healthy body to prevent pain before it occurs.

🔍 This appointment is designed for people whose symptoms have:

⏳ Persisted beyond normal healing time

🔁 Recurred despite previous treatment

📈 Fluctuated or worsened with stress, illness, injury or overload

❓ Seemed to come “out of nowhere”, without a clear injury or trigger

🛠️ Sessions combine:

👐 Hands-on osteopathy

🏃 Rehabilitation and movement exercises

🧠 Nervous-system & Trauma informed strategies

…to address mechanical, neurological and stress-related contributors to pain.

📋 What happens in sessions:

🩺 Full osteopathic assessment

✋ Hands-on treatment (joints, soft tissue, fascia)

🤸 Rehabilitation and movement exercises

🌿 Nervous system regulation strategies where appropriate

Treatment is adapted to how your body responds.
Some changes occur through hands-on work, others through movement and retraining, and others by allowing the nervous system to settle and integrate.

🎯 This appointment is suitable if you have:

🔹 Chronic back, neck or pelvic pain

🔹 Fibromyalgia or widespread pain

Chinese Massage

Chinese Massage is the Chameleon of Massages. Examples of what it can help with: Soreness and tension after exercise, stress tension, lymph drainage, stiffness etc.
Be soothed or invigorated, whichever you need by hand, through wooden dowels or silks. Feel lighter and freer from having your joints gently opened with mobilisations through hands or towels.

Acupuncture

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that works with the natural rhythms of the body. Using light touch, it encourages deep relaxation, helps release tension, and may support relief from stress, discomfort, and emotional strain.

I have been an osteopath since 2015 but my fascination with the way the body works goes back much further. I have been driven by my own struggle with keeping my body working well, having had various surgeries and complications. I discovered Tai Chi and Martial Arts and because I gained a thorough understanding of biomechanics I was inspired to train as an Osteopath.

Alongside Osteopathy I also qualified as a Martial Arts coach and Tui Na Massage Practitioner.

I have found these fit together brilliantly and they support my absolute belief that everyone can improve their posture and movement. My aim is for you to achieve more than just temporary relief; it is to help you find what causes and contributes to your problem and to find solutions, unique to you, that you can take away to continue to help yourself.

The way I see it, prevention is better than cure.

To support you in this process I have recorded and developed a programme of exercises that are both gentle yet powerfully effective.
